JUSTICE MAHESH SHARADCHANDRA SONAK

Born on 28th November, 1964. Completed school education from Don Bosco High School, Panaji, Goa; B Sc. from Dhempe College of Arts & Science, LL.B. from M. S. College of Law, Panaji, Goa (affiliated to Bombay University) in First Class. Portuguese Language Diploma awarded by Xavier Centre of Historical Research. Enrolled as an Advocate on the rolls of Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa in October 1988 and practiced at Panaji Bench of the High Court of Judicature, Bombay in civil & constitutional law, labour & service law, environmental law, commercial & tax laws, company law and public interest litigations. Additional Standing Counsel for Central Government, Special Counsel for State Government and Statutory Corporations. Elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay on 21st June 2013

 


JUSTICE DAMA SESHADRI NAIDU

Born on 19th June, 1962 to late Sri D.Narayanaswamy Naidu and late Smt.Lakshmamma at Ganganagunta, a hamlet away from Tirupathi, the holy pilgrim town, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

Did his graduation from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam; later he obtained Law Degree from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi; thereafter he got enrolled as a member on the roles of Bar Counsel of Andhra Pradesh in March, 1997. To gain trial court experience, initially he established his practise in Tirupathi, and practiced in both branches of law - civil & criminal. Later, having shifted practise in early 2000s to Hyderabad, he started practice in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, as well as the Civil and Criminal Courts in the city. Represented many corporate entities and nationalised banks, apart from private clientele, picking up practice in all branches of Law.

He got himself associated with AP Judicial Academy, Hyderabad, as a guest faculty and taught various subjects, notably Hindu Succession Act, 1956 and Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881. He authored a few law books, such as the Law of Stamp Duty & Registration in Andhra Pradesh and the Andhra Pradesh Education Code. Besides, he co-reviewed M.P.Jain's Indian Constitutional Law (2 volumes), Seventh Edition (2017).




JUSTICE NITIN W. SAMBRE

Born on 19th December, 1967 at Nagpur. Completed his schooling from Somalwar High School and Shivaji Science College. Graduated in Law in the year 1992 from University College of Law, Nagpur.

Being a Sportsman, represented State of Maharashtra in National Tournaments. Was elected as President of the Students Union of the University College of Law, Nagpur in 1991.

Enrolled as an Advocate on 25th August, 1992.

Started legal career with then Senior Advocate Shri Sharad A. Bobde, (now Honourable Judge, Supreme Court of India). Practised in the High Court of Bombay, Nagpur on Civil, Writ and Criminal sides.

Was the Secretary of the High Court Bar Associ ation, Nagpur for 2004-07.

Represented Governor of Maharashtra in the High Court Bench at Nagpur. Was appointed as Government Pleader and Public Prosecutor on 1st September, 2007. Was Counsel for Nagpur Improvement Trust, Special Counsel for Forest Department and Scheduled Tribes Caste Certificate Verification Committee. Was Standing Counsel for Public Undertakings such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, etc. Represented statutory bodies such as various Municipal Corporations and Councils. Also represented companies like Tata Sons, Godrej, etc.

Elevated as a Judge of Bombay High Court on 6th January, 2014.




JUSTICE SMT. MUKULIKA SHRIKANT JAWALKAR

Born on 26th May, 1964. Completed middle and higher education at Nagpur. Completed LLB (5 years) in First Division at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law at Nagpur in 1989. Completed LLM (Constitution & Administrative Law) in 1992 from Nagpur University and also completed B.Com and M.Com as an external candidate from Nagpur University. Stood second in order of merit while completing Master Degree in Human Rights & Duties Education in 2003. Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa in September, 1989. She was appointed as Executive Member of High Court Bar Association, Nagpur from 1996 to 1999. She was appointed as Secretary of Vidarbha Lady Lawyers Association. She has worked as Contributory Lecturer in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur.

On standing first in the order of merit, she was selected as District Judge directly from Bar and was posted as District Judge-5 & Assistant Sessions Judge, Nasik in 2008. She was nominated by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India & National Judicial Academy as a Member of delegation visiting Australia for an academic exchange programme from 18.09.2009 to 27.09.2009. She was appointed as Judge, Family Court, Bandra from 01.06.2011 to 30.11.2011 and then as Joint Charity Commissioner, Greater Bombay Region from 01.12.2011 to 03.06.2013. She worked as District Judge-1 & Additional Sessions Judge at Amravati from 04.06.2013 to 19.04.2014. She took charge as Principal District & Sessions Judge at Parbhani from 21.04.2014 to 26.04.2017 and as Principal District & Sessions Judge at Bhandara from 02.05.2017 to 12.07.2017. She was appointed as First Chief Lady Judge at Small Causes Court, Mumbai from 13.07.2017 to 04.12.2019. Elevated as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 05.12.2019.
